National Technology Day Celebration:
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, MESCE Kuttippuram organized a student project exhibition jointly with Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment as part of National Technology Day Celebrations 2017. The event titled " An exhibition of Student projects in information and communication technologies for sustainable development" was held on 11 the May 2017 at Department of ECE.

Entrepreneurship - MYTH & FACTS
As a part of observing World Student’s Day, Association of Electronics & Communication Engineering (AECE) organized a talk on “Entrepreneurship- Myths & Facts” on 15th October 2015, Thursday at 2.00pm in the College Auditorium. Dr. V.H.Abdul Salam, Principal, MES College of Engineering, presided over the function and advised the students that they should inculcate the basic qualities and spirit of becoming an entrepreneur.
Mr. Shahim Baker, Director, Grey Technolabs Private Limited and Mr. Vijay S. Paul, Founder and Start-up Entrepreneur, were invited as chief-guests to honour the function. The session had a close look on the specific characteristics and skills that are required by an entrepreneur which are often achieved through education, hard work, and planning. Mr.Shahim and Mr. Vijay started up things with their own story filled with hardships they faced as an entrepreneur and how those hardships brought desired outcome for them. The seminar was mostly emphasised on the myths and misconceptions of entrepreneurship. To create a friendly atmosphere they kept things on a lighter note & as a result everybody felt comfortable, asked question and learned a lot from their experiences.
A large number of students and faculty members had attended the event.

FDP on "Mathematics for Communication and Signal Processing

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, MES College of Engineering Kuttippuram, Kerala, is organising a five day Faculty Development Programme on "Mathematics for Communication and Signal Processing" during 8th to 12th January 2018.
The main objective of the program is to develop strong basics in mathematical concepts for understanding communication and signal processing theory. The course covers the mathematical foundation needed to understand the various signal processing techniques. The FDP is intended for the Faculty members with relevant background and currently working in KTU affiliated Engineering Institutions. The event is sponsored by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) Kerala.
