MES COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, KUTTIPPURAM was established in the year 1994. Central Library too had a humble beginning with the college. Being located in the heart of the campus, it is the intellectual cross road of the college, connecting pupil and ideas. With its quiet atmosphere and well-lit study areas, it is a hub of academic inquiry. Library acquires, organizes and provides access to materials in variety of formats; creates a physical environment conducive to user requirements and encourage use of library as sources of lifelong learning. We provide Book Bank facility for economically backward students. Each department of the College is equipped with departmental library.

Having a total collection of 68000+ Volumes of books, 26000+ Unique titles amounting 4.5 Crores and 150+ Journals relevant in the field of Engineering Technology, Architecture and Management; library cater to the requirements of the academic community as a whole.

Library is fully automated with bar-code facility. Independent information retrieval for library users is possible from anywhere in the campus With On-line Public Access Catalog (OPAC). A Xerographic section is also functioning in the library.


Digital Library


A state of the art Digital Repository which can give access to 11000+ e-Journals, 1000 e-Books, On-line journals, 4400+ CD ROM s, 560+ DVDs, 7800+ Bound back volume journals, 1100+ Project reports, 290+ Mini projects, 3200+ Seminar reports 50+ thesis reports, 398+ Indian Standard Codes and Question paper archives-meet the information requirements of academic community of the college.

E-Access is possible to IEEE ASPP, J-GATE Engineering & Technology, J-GATE Social & Management Science and K-hub Architectural and Environmental Engineering data bases. Timely procurement of up to date information resources to keep pace with the changing scenario of education makes library the last resort of information seekers.
