Department of Science and Humanities, prepares Engineering students
for UG and PG courses. The department also supports PG course in
Business Administration (MBA). A team of highly qualified, experienced
and professionally proven faculty members guide students to become
industry ready, employable and competent personalities catering to the
need of global job scenario.
The Department deals in the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, English and Economics. The faculty of Physics enables the students to understand the basic ideas and concepts in Physics, which plays a primary role in all branches of engineering and thereby motivates the students to understand the relationship between physics and engineering. The faculty of Chemistry familiarizes the applications of chemistry in the field of technology and creates an awareness about the major environmental issues for a sustainable development.The faculty of English improves the language and communication skills of the students and thereby making them a success in their professional and social life.The faculty of Economics imparts fundamental economic principles that can assist engineers and managers to take more efficient and economical decisions in their professional life.The faculty of the department, most of whom are actively involved in research programmes, gives individual attention, remedial classes for the needy and leads to comprehensive development of the students.
