The Mathematics department of MES College of Engineering comprises a team of 11 dedicated
faculties who provides a nurturing milieu conducive to innovative thinking, preparing students to
keep in touch with the ever growing technology of engineering in 21st century.
The department has been successful in supporting Engineering programmes with a consistent
track record. Presently, besides with UG Courses, the department has been providing support to
PG courses in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Applications
(MCA). It provides a reasonable analytical outlook, logical reasoning and a Mathematical bent of
mind, to the students through problem-solving. The students are given a good training to
familiarize with the concepts applied to Engineering. Special remedial classes have been
conducting for students who find it difficult to cope with mathematics. The faculty members
participate regularly in refresher courses, conferences, workshops and symposia conducted by
various universities and research institutions.
